One year ago, students of the World Tourism Forum’s partner schools had the unique chance to participate at the Forum’s research competition by submitting a paper about sustainability. These outstanding papers were evaluated by a board of the professors of the Forum’s partner schools. The authors of the best seven winners were invited to the Forum 2011 and could attend the entire event as well as special Young Talents side events such as a special assessment of the recruiting firm Korn/Ferry, a poster discussion workshop and a city tour. The participation at the Forum was an outstanding opportunity for the Young Talents to interact with CEOs of the tourism industry, starting to build a profound network and advancing their career by market themselves. Everything took place in a positive, inspiring and very relaxed environment.
