Stephanie Draper, Director of Change Strategies

Role: Leading Forum's work on change that creates maximum sustainability and organisational benefits. Stephanie is an expert in industry level change for sustainability. She works to help industries tackle the crunch issues that are too big for one organisation to address on their own. She leads the Forum's work on creating sustained change. Her specialisms include transformational process design, sector change projects, systems innovation, futures and vision and embedding and accelerating sustainable development.
Background: Stephanie has 15 years' experience working with business on sustainability and related areas. Prior to joining the Forum in 2002, she was the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at the Work Foundation (formerly The Industrial Society) where she worked with a variety of organisations advising them on CSR strategy, stakeholder dialogue and . Previously Stephanie delivered strategic and organisational change consultancy at the Industrial Society.
Stephanie has written and presented extensively on sustainable development. Her publications include The six steps to significant change (Forum for the Future); Models and strategies for sector change (The Journal of Corporate Governance); Are you a Leader Business: hallmarks of sustainable performance (Forum) and Corporate Nirvana – is the future socially responsible? She tutors on sustainable development at University of Cambridge and a visiting lecturer at London Business School. She is a trustee of the Travel Foundation and Chair of their activities committee.
Education: Stephanie has an MSc in Environment and Conservation and a BSc in Biochemistry.
