Max Pfister, Government Councillor of the Canton of Lucerne

He was born in 1951 and raised near Lucerne, and he graduated from various business colleges in Switzerland and abroad. After working in software development and sales, Max Pfister established his own software company near Lucerne in 1984. His company grew quickly from a start up to a company with more than 150 employees. Pfister has been member of the Government of the Canton of Lucerne since 1995. He is head of the Department of Public Works, Environmental and Economic Affairs with around 600 employees.  Max Pfister is married and has two children.
