Ernst A. Brugger, Chairman of BHP-Brugger and Partners Ltd.

Ernst Brugger is the Chairman of BHP-Brugger and Partners Ltd., a management policy and development consultancy based in Zurich, specialized in sustainability strategies for private and public organisations.

He has rich experience in advising government agencies, public organisations, private companies and NGOs as consultant, coach and moderator in core strategy. From 1986 to 1996, Mr. Brugger was the CEO of FUNDES, a Swiss private sector initiative to promote small enterprises in Latin America.

Today Ernst Brugger is Chairman of the board of Lausanne Hospitality Consulting, SV Group, Sustainable Performance Group, BlueOrchard Finance S.A. and Precious Woods Holding Ltd. 

He enjoys an excellent business network in Switzerland, Europe and the United States as well as Latin America, and is committed to several humanitarian organisations, i.e. honorary member of the committee of the ICRC.

He has been a professor at INCAE, the business school in Costa Rica, and a visiting professor at Stanford University, and has been teaching at the University of Zurich since 1981 (part-time professor today).
